Our Roots
Mitchell’s Western Store was established in 1987 by Kathy and Ward Mitchell, located on a country road north of Auburn, NY. Kathy and Ward lovingly ran the store for over 35 years. In 2022, Kathy and Ward were ready to retire, and the store was purchased under new ownership so that their well loved store could live on. Mitchell’s prides itself on keeping products that our customers love, and having knowledgeable staff to create a shopping experience that creates a long term relationship with our customers.
